Hello! I’m Laynie.

I have been baking professionally for close to a decade, and have always held a special appreciation for making layer cakes.

My approach to baking has a heavy emphasis on the seasons, whole grains, and fresh or preserved fruits & herbs. I like to decorate with dramatic swooshes of buttercream, seasonal fruit, and fresh flowers.

I proudly partner with Boulder County farmers & millers to make my cakes special. Your cake is likely to include organic fresh flowers from Artemis Flower Farm, freshly milled flour from Moxie, and seasonal fruit from Fruit Fruits Organic or Speedwell Farm & Garden, to name a few! As much as I can, I source ingredients seasonally and locally through Boulder’s amazing farm stands and markets.

My style is best described as rustic and a little bit whimsical.
